These optical probes are a bi-directional interface utilizing infra-red light. They provide galvanically isolated communication between revenue meters and computers as specified in ANSI C12.18-1996 (U.S.A.) and AS 1284.10.2-1993 (Australia).
Models are availabe for computers with either a serial port or USB connection.
